OVERVIEW

Both the Deer Trail and East Adams Conservation Districts have established a scholarship fund to recognize and support local students pursuing a career in agriculture or natural resource conservation. Each district will recognize a scholarship recipient that will be awarded a $500 scholarship for educational assistance to a College, University, or Trade School of their choosing.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be graduating High School seniors or students currently enrolled in an institute of higher education with a major focused on an Agriculture or Conservation related field.

Applicants must be citizens of the United States and reside in Colorado. Students within the Deer Trail Conservation District are preferred, but students located outside the East Adams Conservation District area will also be eligible.

Students must be pursuing a degree in Agriculture or Conservation related field of study at an accredited College, University, or Trade School of their choosing.

Application must be legible (preferably typed or written in blue or black ink) to be considered.
