OUR FUNCTION
To provide awareness of local and state natural resource concerns. To make educational, technical, and financial assistance available to our district producers and local land owners so they can practice conservation of soil, water, and related natural resources.
OUR MISSION
The Deer Trail and East Adams Conservation District serve as a local intermediary between the landowners of the District and other agencies and groups in the conservation of natural resources while maximizing the economically productive capabilities of the land and the people.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Both the Deer Trail and East Adams Conservation Districts offer various scholarships throughout the year as funding allows.
The districts have established a scholarship fund to recognize and support local students pursuing a career in agriculture or natural resource conservation. The scholarship recipient will be awarded a $500 scholarship for educational assistance to a College, University, or Trade School of their choosing.
The districts also offer Camp Rocky scholarships for youths ages 14-19. Occasionally, we offer additional scholarships that come up throughout the year.
