WEED BARRIER FABRIC
The weed barrier fabric is a commercial grade mesh that allows moisture to pass through while protecting against evaporation and weed competition. The weed barrier has up to a 25-year lifespan.
We sell two different size staples to hold the weed barrier down.10″ x 2″ and 6″ x 2″
The district rents out a weed barrier laying machine to make installation of the fabric easier. More information on the machine can be found on the Equipment Rental page.
SEEDLING PROTECTION
Rigid plastic tubes are available to protect your seedling trees against rabbits, rodent, deer, gopher, and vole damage. They are 4″ (make sure to use the inch symbol) in diameter and 18″ long, and are sold in bundles of 10.
Bamboo stakes are great for supporting trees and holding the plastic tree cages in place. They vary in length and diameter. They are sold in packs of 10.
The district also carries fertilizer tablets and polymer and root dip for you trees.
DRIP IRRIGATION SYSTEM
The district offers the Rain Bird drip irrigation system which is commercial grade. We offer drip piping and all the fittings for both 1/2″ and 3/4″ systems.
